Ottawa, Ontario – Wellington Dupont Public Affairs is pleased to welcome Ryan Adam as an Executive Vice President.
Before joining Wellington Dupont, Ryan spent 4 years working as the Vice-President of Government and Public Relations at Torstar. Prior to this, he spent two years working in the Office of the Prime Minister, where he was responsible for advising the Prime Minister and staff on issues of importance related to British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. He worked closely with all Ministers in cabinet to advance policy, issues, funding, and strategy for the four western provinces. During this time, Ryan built an extensive network of contacts and relationships across governments, companies, Indigenous communities, and cities. Ryan also spent over two years working in the office of the Minister of Natural Resources, where he advised on issues related to government policy, including pipelines, climate change policy, intergovernmental relations, and Indigenous nation-to-nation relationships.
Ryan also spent three years working in Government Relations for the Government of Alberta. Ryan was responsible for outreach and interaction between the Government of Alberta and all external governments related to major market access projects, including key personnel in the U.S. and Canadian administrations, as well as high-ranking provincial and municipal officials across Canada.

Hailing from Alberta, Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alberta and is now primarily located in Toronto, Ontario.
