WD is looking for a talented Communications Manager to join our Ottawa team. As a Communications Manager you will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating communication strategies and programs; Gather, research and prepare communications material; Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions; Prepare or oversee preparation of reports, briefs, speeches, presentations, Website content and press releases; Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material; developing and publishing social media content.
Requirements
Minimum 1-year in a communications/media relations work environment
Demonstrated ability to develop messages and materials
Ability to monitor and analyze ongoing developments of relevance to clients
Proven ability to manage multiple client activities, programs and budgets
Highly motivated and able to identify and secure new business opportunities
Applies creative thinking and problem-solving to client and firm challenges
