WD is looking for a talented Communications Manager to join our Ottawa team. As a Communications Manager you will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating communication strategies and programs; Gather, research and prepare communications material; Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions; Prepare or oversee preparation of reports, briefs, speeches, presentations, Website content and press releases; Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material; developing and publishing social media content.


  • Minimum 1-year in a communications/media relations work environment

  • Demonstrated ability to develop messages and materials

  • Ability to monitor and analyze ongoing developments of relevance to clients

  • Proven ability to manage multiple client activities, programs and budgets

  • Highly motivated and able to identify and secure new business opportunities

  • Applies creative thinking and problem-solving to client and firm challenges
