Former Conservative MP Alupa Clarke has joined Wellington Dupont Public Affairs as a senior adviser.

Mr. Clarke served in the Tory ranks in the House of Commons from 2015 to 2019. Throughout his four years in the Chamber, he served as the Conservative critic for a number of portfolios, including veterans affairs, public works and government services, and official languages.

The firm includes his former caucus colleague Tony Clement, as well as former Conservative MP Rod Bruinooge.

In October, Mr. Clarke ran for re-election in the riding of Beauport-Limoilou, Que., but was defeated by Bloc Québécois MP Julie Vignola in a close race.
